Hello and Welcome to Hillcrest Public School 
Hillcrest is a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school located in the Hespeler part of Cambridge, on a lovely woodlot. We have many exciting things happening this year at Hillcrest. We have become a pilot school for a new program called School-Day. You will see the link on the bottom left of this page. School-Day has been designed to eliminate paper copies. It is an online portal that lets us instantly share school news and events. You can approve field trip permission forms as well as pay for those trips and events online.
Along with our excellent academic program with an emphasis on Reading, Writing and Mathematics, we have strong Caring initiatives, including the Imagine Anti-Bullying program and the PALS cooperative playground games program. We also use Restorative Justice Circles, both formally and informally, to resolve student disputes and behaviour issues.
Hillcrest is a great school with caring, dedicated staff working hard to meet our students' needs. We look forward to another successful year!

Community Garage Sale
When: Saturday, April 21st, 2012, in the Hillcrest Public School parking lot, 31 Renwick Avenue (in event of rain it will be held in the gym) from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
What is it? This is a chance to sell your gently used clothing, working toys, small household items, books, small furniture and knick knacks. If you would like to participate, tables can be rented for $10.00 for 2 tables.
Donations go towards keeping our gardens green and a friendly space for the students and wildlife.
We provide the space, you keep the profits!
Help keep useable goods out of the landfill! Tables are selling quickly. Please call the school at 658-5187 for more details and reserve your table now!
Please note that this sale is to encourage re-using items that can be redirected from the landfill. This is not a craft sale or a venue for home businesses. You will be responsible for taking away anything left over at the end of the sale. Items may not be disposed of in the Hillcrest garbage bin.
